గ్రేటర్‌ ఎన్నికల బరిలో మొత్తం 1,122 మంది పోటీపడుతున్నారు. TRS పార్టీ ఒక్కటే 150 డివిజన్లలో తమ అభ్యర్థులను పోటీకి నిలిపింది. 149 డివిజన్లలో BJP, 146 చోట్ల కాంగ్రెస్‌ తమ అభ్యర్థులను పోటీలో నిలిపాయి. ఒక్కో వార్డులో సగటున ఏడుగురు బరిలో నిలిచారు. మజ్లిస్‌ తమకు పట్టున్న పాతబస్తీలో అభ్యర్థులను నిలుపగా, టీడీపీ పాతబస్తీ మినహా మిగిలిన డివిజన్లలో అభ్యర్థులను బరిలోకి దించింది. నవాబ్‌ సాహెబ్‌ కుంటలో BJP అభ్యర్థిని నిలుపలేదు. తలాబ్‌చంచలం, బార్కాస్‌, గోల్కొండ, టోలీచౌకీల్లో కాంగ్రెస్‌కు అభ్యర్థుల్లేరు.
జీడిమెట్ల, టోలీచౌకీ, నవాబ్‌సాహెబ్‌కుంట, బార్కా స్‌, ఉప్పల్‌ డివిజన్లలో త్రిముఖ పోటీ జరుగుతుంది. జంగమ్మెట్‌లో అత్యధికంగా 20 మంది అభ్యర్థులు పోటీలో నిలిచారు.
