ఉత్తర కొరియాలో తొలి కరోనా పాజిటివ్ కేసు నమోదైంది. దీంతో కొవిడ్ ఇతరులకు వ్యాప్తి చెందకుండా ముందస్తు జాగ్రత్త చర్యల్లో భాగంగా కేసాంగ్ నగరంలో లాక్‌డౌన్ విధించారు. ఈ మేరకు ఆ దేశ అధ్యక్షుడు కిమ్ జోంగ్‌ ఉన్‌ నిర్వహించిన సమీక్షా సమావేశంలో అధికారులకు పలు కీలక ఆదేశాలు జారీ చేశారు.
వైరస్ లక్షణాలున్న ప్రతి ఒక్కరిని గుర్తించి పరీక్షలు నిర్వహించాలని కిమ్ ఆదేశించారు. దేశ వ్యాప్తంగా ఇప్పటికే 976 పరీక్షలు నిర్వహించామని వారిలో ఏ ఒక్కరికి కరోనా పాజిటివ్‌గా తేలలేదని అధికారులు అధ్యక్షుడికి వివరించారు. మూడేళ్ల క్రితం దక్షిణ కొరియాకు పారిపోయిన వ్యక్తి ఇటీవల దేశానికి తిరిగి వచ్చాడని.. అతనికి వైరస్ లక్షణాలు ఉన్నట్లు నిర్థారణ అయినట్లు తెలిపారు.
కొన్ని రోజుల క్రితం కరోనాపై విజయం సాధించామని కిమ్ ప్రకటించారు. కానీ అలా చెప్పిన కొన్ని రోజులకే తొలి కేసు నమోదు కావడంతో వీలైనన్ని అత్యవసర చర్యలు తీసుకోవాలని అధికారులను ఆదేశించారు. అసలు ఆ వ్యక్తి సరిహద్దులు ఎలా దాటాడో తెలుసుకుంటామన్నారు. ఈ ఘటనకు కారకులపై కఠిన చర్యలు తీసుకుంటామని హెచ్చరించారు.
