కాగా 2017 డిసెంబరులో రాజకీయాల్లోకి రావడం ఖాయం అని బహిరంగంగా ప్రకటించిన తలైవా రజనీకాంత్‌ అనేక పరిణామాల అనంతరం ఈనెల 3న పార్టీని స్థాపించనున్నట్లు ప్రకటించారు. జనవరిలో కొత్త పార్టీ పెడతానని, డిసెంబరు 31న ఇందుకు సంబంధించిన పూర్తి వివరాలు వెల్లడిస్తానని పేర్కొన్నారు. అంతేగాక తమిళనాడు అసెంబ్లీ ఎన్నికల్లో పోటీ చేస్తామని, విజయం సాధిస్తామని విశ్వాసం వ్యక్తం చేశారు. అయితే అనారోగ్య కారణాలతో రజనీ ప్రస్తుతం రాజకీయ పార్టీ స్థాపనపై వెనక్కి తగ్గారు. కుటుంబ సభ్యులు ముఖ్యంగా కూతుళ్లు ఐశ్వర్య, సౌందర్య ఒత్తిడి మేరకే ఆయన ఈ నిర్ణయం తీసుకున్నట్లు తెలుస్తోంది.
ఇదిలా ఉంటే తీవ్రమైన రక్తపోటు, అలసట కారణంగా రజనీ డిసెంబరు 25న ఆసుపత్రిలో చేరిన విషయం తెలిసిందే. హైదరాబాద్‌లోని జూబ్లిహిల్స్ అపోలో ఆసుపత్రిలో రెండు రోజుల చికిత్స అనంతరం డిశ్చార్జ్ అయి చెన్నై వెళ్లిపోయారు. దీంతో కొద్ది రోజుల విశ్రాంతి తీసుకుని మళ్లీ రాజకీయాల్లోకి వస్తారని అభిమానులంతా అనుకున్నారు. అయితే ఊహించని విధంగా వారందరికీ షాక్ ఇస్తూ రజినీకాంత్ తాను రాజకీయాలకు దూరంగా ఉండనున్నట్లు ప్రకటించారు.
