ఏదైనా ఘటన జరిగినప్పుడు దాన్ని ప్రత్యేకంగా దర్యాప్తు చేసేందుకు ప్రభుత్వం SIT (Special Investigation Team)ను ఏర్పాటు చేస్తుంది. సమర్థులైన అధికారులకు SIT బాధ్యతలను అప్పగిస్తారు. కేసును అన్ని కోణాల్లో, స్పీడ్‌గా దర్యాప్తు చేయడం SIT టార్గెట్. ఈ టీమ్ దర్యాప్తు చేసి ఛార్జ్‌షీట్‌ను కోర్టులో ఫైల్ చేస్తుంది.
ఇప్పటివరకు తెలంగాణ ఏర్పడినప్పటి నుంచి మూడు SITలు ఏర్పాటయ్యాయి. ఆలేరు వద్ద ఎన్‌కౌంటర్, నయీం అక్రమాస్తుల వ్యవహారం, ఐటీ గ్రిడ్ డేటా చోరీకి సంబంధించి SITలు ఏర్పాటయ్యాయి. కానీ ఒక్కటి కూడా దర్యాప్తును పూర్తి చేసింది లేదు. తాజాగా షాద్‌నగర్ చటాన్‌పల్లి ఎన్‌కౌంటర్‌లో దిశ హత్యాచారం కేసు నిందితుల మృతిపై SIT ఏర్పాటైంది.
ఉమ్మడి నల్గొండ జిల్లా ఆలేరు వద్ద 2015 ఏప్రిల్ 7న జరిగిన కాల్పుల్లో వికారుద్దీన్ సహా మరో నలుగురు పోలీస్ వ్యానులోనే హతమయ్యారు. వరంగల్ సెంట్రల్ జైలు నుంచి పాత కేసు విచారణ నిమిత్తం వీరిని నాంపల్లి కోర్టుకు తీసుకొస్తుండగా ఈ ఘటన జరిగింది. ఎస్కార్టు పోలీస్ సిబ్బంది చేతుల్లో నుంచి తుపాకులు లాక్కునేందుకు ప్రయత్నించడంతో ఆత్మరక్షణ కోసం కాల్పులు జరపాల్పి వచ్చిందనే అంశంపై దర్యాప్తు కోసం సిట్(SIT) ఏర్పాటు చేశారు. కానీ నాలుగేళ్లు దాటినా ఇంకా దర్యాప్తు పూర్తి కాలేదు.
కరుడుగట్టిన గ్యాంగ్‌స్టర్ నయీం 2016 ఆగష్టు 8న షాద్‌నగర్ మిలినియం టౌన్‌షిప్ దగ్గర జరిగిన ఎన్‌కౌంటర్‌లో మృతిచెందాడు. నయీం బెదిరింపుల ద్వారా కూడబెట్టిన అక్రమాస్తుల వ్యవహారాన్ని తేల్చడంతో పాటు అతడితో సంబంధమున్న రాజకీయ నాయకులు, పోలీస్ అధికారుల సంగతి తేల్చేందుకు సిట్ ఏర్పాటు చేశారు. 200లకు పైగా కేసులు నమోదు చేయడంతో పాటు 75కు పైగా కేసుల్లో ఛార్జ్‌షీట్‌ కూడా దాఖలు చేసింది. అయితే రాజకీయ నాయకుల ప్రమేయంపై ఇంకా ఏ నిర్ణయం తీసుకోలేదు.
ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ ప్రజల డేటా చోరీ చేసిందనే అభియోగం, ప్రజలకు సంబంధించి ప్రభుత్వం దగ్గర ఉండాల్సిన సమాచారాన్ని ఐటీ గ్రిడ్ సంస్థ ఇతర ప్రయోజనాలకు వినియోగించిందనే అభియోగంతో మాదాపూర్‌లో కేసు నమోదైంది. దీనిపై గత ఏడాది మార్చిలో సిట్ ఏర్పాటైంది.
ఇప్పటివరకు ఏర్పాటైన మూడు SITల పనితీరును పరిశీలిస్తే దర్యాప్తు అంతా ఈజీగా కొలిక్కిరాదనే విషయం స్పష్టమవుతోంది. సిట్ ఏర్పాటైనప్పుడు ఉన్న హడావుడి, శ్రద్ధ గానీ తర్వాత కాలంలో లేకపోవడం ప్రధాన కారణంగా చెప్పొచ్చు.
