చాలా కాలంగా ఎదురుచూస్తున్న తెలంగాణ కొత్త PCC చీఫ్ ఎంపిక అంశం కొలిక్కి వచ్చింది. PCC చీఫ్ పదవి కోసం దరఖాస్తు చేసుకున్న జాబితా నుంచి అనర్హుల పేర్లను కాంగ్రెస్ అధిష్టానం పక్కన పెట్టింది. అలాగే మాల్కాజ్‌ గిరి ఎంపీ రేవంత్ రెడ్డికి పీసీసీ అధ్యక్ష పదవి దక్కే అవకాశం ఉందన్న ప్రచారం జరిగింది. దీంతో ప్రస్తుత PCC చీఫ్ ఉత్తమ్ కుమార్ రెడ్డి వర్గంగా చెప్పుకునే సంగారెడ్డి ఎమ్మెల్యే జగ్గారెడ్డి వ్యతిరేకించారు. PCC విషయంలో అందరి అభిప్రాయాలను తీసుకున్న తర్వాతే తుది నిర్ణయం తీసుకోవాలని డిమాండ్ చేశారు. పార్టీ జెండా మోసిన వాళ్లకే అధ్యక్ష పదవి ఇవ్వాలని.. బయట పార్టీల నుంచి వచ్చిన వారికి ప్రాధాన్యత ఇవ్వొద్దని పలువురు కాంగ్రెస్ నేతలు అధిష్టానానికి లేఖలు రాసినట్లు తెలిసింది.
ఇటీవల కాంగ్రెస్ అధ్యక్షురాలు సోనియా గాంధీ, మాజీ అధ్యక్షుడు రాహుల్ గాంధీ వద్ద కొత్త పీసీసీ చీఫ్ ఎంపిక గురించి ఉత్తమ్ కుమార్ రెడ్డి ప్రస్తావించగా.. ఆ నిర్ణయం తమకే వదిలిపెట్టాలని సూచించినట్లు తెలిసింది. రాష్ట్రంలో TRS, BJPల స్థితిగతులు, తాజా రాజకీయ పరిణామాలు, పార్టీ శ్రేణుల అభిప్రాయాలు తెలుసుకున్న తర్వాతనే ఇద్దరు ఎంపీల పేర్లు పరిశీలనలో ఉన్నట్లు తెలుస్తోంది. ఇప్పుడున్న రాజకీయ పరిస్థితుల్లో అటు TRS, ఇటు BJPని ఢీకొట్టే వ్యక్తి, పార్టీ నేతలను సమన్వయం చేసుకొని ముందుకు సాగే వ్యక్తికే PCC చీఫ్ పదవి ఇవ్వాలన్న ఆలోచనలో కాంగ్రెస్ అధిస్టానం ఉన్నట్లు సమాచారం.
